Why does the Chapter conduct Fundraising Activities?

Our fundraising efforts are to help us build our "Educational Fund." Our Educational Fund is used to reimburse members for their registration fees (or a portion of their registration fees) related to the ABWA Annual National Women's Leadership Conference and the various ABWA-sponsored Regional Conferences (please refer to our Chapter Standing Rules for eligibility and complete details). Additionally, we fund our participation in the Business Skills Tuition Reimbursement Program (BSTR) through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund (SBMEF). Read more about this program!

1. Purchase your tickets in advance! You can purchase tickets all month long - purchase a little, purchase A LOT! Just be sure to purchase before 4:00pm on the day of the Chapter meeting. Purchases made after 4:00pm will be credited to the next month's 50/50 drawing.
2. After your purchase, you will receive an email with your virtual ticket numbers within 24 hours. Please note, your ticket numbers will be associated with the name on the credit card used for purchasing. 3. We will input all ticket numbers sold during the month into a "Random Number Generator" and it will select the winner - LIVE at the end of the Chapter meeting! 4. Winners need not be present to win! That's the great thing with being virtual - if you purchase tickets and have a last minute meeting conflict, you can still win! 5. Winners will receive a check for their winnings! Or, you can choose to rollover your winnings to next month's drawing. Stay tuned for electronic payment options to receive your winnings (i.e. Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp, etc.), as we continue to work out the details!! |
