The primary function of the Membership Committee is to collaborate with the VP of Membership in maintaining the strength and vitality of the Chapter. This is achieved by organizing and implementing a minimum of two membership recruitment campaigns each year (fall and spring) that will attract new members and/or reclaim former ABWA members, following up with new members enrolled, and facilitating new member orientation events.
The level of involvement requested of each committee member is between 1 and 3 hours per month. Additional time may be necessary in the weeks before any special events.
This committee is open to an unlimited number of volunteers.
