The primary function of the Professional Development Committee is to ensure the Chapter delivers at least 9 business and market relevant programs each Chapter year. The Committee shall utilize the aggregate results from the annual ABWA Member Interest Surveys as a compass when determining the programming topics that would best meet the needs of the members and within the context of ABWA’s mission.
The Committee shall secure programming within the budgetary guidelines, submit program information to the Technology Committee Chair (e.g., the speaker’s name, photo, presentation title and overview) to publish. The Committee chair will provide room set-up and audio visual requirements for each dinner meeting to the Vice President in a timely manner.
The level of involvement requested of each committee member is 1-2 hours per month.
This committee is open to an unlimited number of volunteers.
